Powder coating wood
I work for a powder works. We have been trying to powder wood and have had little success. We had problems with bubbling and powder not sticking. What are some of the things we could try different? We use a normal oven not UV; does that make the powder stick better? We have tried low heat and long times and high heat and short times and it just doesn't make it any better. We have tried soaking the wood and just spraying it down and it doesn't seem to do anything different. We cook between 200 and 275 and no longer than 5 min at a time and some woods have split or cracked. Then we have cook it at 300 and 400 and that does nothing.I am very new to wood but it seems very fun and its different than normal stain or paint.I want a challenge but its very hard to keep trying if you don't have a thing come out right.so if you have any info that could help me out or at least point me in the right direction to someone or something that could. Thank you for your time.

Dear Sir,
Reference to wood Powder coating, the wood has lot of moisture in it thats why you get bubbles on surface. The only solution to your problem is Infra red heating system with fix adjustment of heat on surface area of wood. This system will heat the powder before heating the wood,You can use low bake powder also.
