How E-coating impact on mechanical properties
2006
Hello
Could anybody please let me know if e-coating ia applied at a high temperature in a way the affects the mechanical properties of the parts treated. Also, how e-coating does affects galvanized coating?
Thanks

The cure temp for most e-coat is just under 400 °F. this depends on the paint supplier and type of e-coat. Also, you can e-coat over galvanized. It would give you added corrosion protection.
