Is there an alternative to Ferroxyl test?

Please, could you suggest an alternative test to ferroxyl for finding iron contamination on ss. AISI 304 and 316L.

astmb633.htmla380.html" --> also mentions the copper sulphate ⇦ on eBay or Amazon [affil link] test. I've always heard the ferroxyl test is prone to false positives (incorrectly indicating free iron). But, some say the copper sulphate isn't as accurate as the ferroxyl test.
