Chrome trimming, is it a finish?
Hi everyone
I'm very new to the finishing industry. Just what are the materials needed (maybe a starter book I could read) to make chrome trimmings such as those for Car handles? I would love to customize and make my own chrome trimming for my car. Thanks in advance and kindest regards.

Well let me start off by saying I am not an expert in the car industry, but I believe that most of the handles these day's are made from a casted aluminum, then there electropolished or electroplated. Do you want to make the handles or plate them or both? I would say that it is a pretty expensive venture to get into, with the machines and the price of metal these days, but good luck to you!
