How do I create a consistent brushed surface on aluminum?

I need a consistent brushed finish on 6"X 6" aluminum tiles. What machine or process will assist me in this process? I need to do this as part of my manufacturing process. I have tried wet belt sanding, but this did not provide a consistent enough finish.

Basically, you have 2 alternatives. Belt or wheel systems. Naturally the wider the belt or wheel the more uniform the part finish. Kind of, if at first you don't succeed, try again. There are more than one or two companies who make machines and/or supplies for these systems and they should all have technical support.
