How can I remove a rust from old steel tower

How can I remove rust from an old steel tower. Is there a chemecal product to remove a rust ? what's the suitable way to remove arust and paint it?

The subject of repainting steel structures is broad and fills books, and speaker schedules at annual conferences, Tareq. But for a one-time deal you probably just wire brush it, apply naval jelly this on eBay or Amazon [affil links] or other rust preventative, prime, and paint. Sandblasting is an alternative.

In the U.S.A. one would need to be very careful about the possibility of releasing lead from this brushing or sand blasting operation and to guard against inhalation of the paint residue or the sand residue, and "being careful" would probably include obtaining some permits for the operation.
