Coating Copper to improve heat conduction

I have copper disc 1/4" Thick. I need to take more heat by conduction through copper. How can I plate the copper (which would be the material) so that I can take more heat from copper.

I don't think any plating or coating can improve conduction, but your situation is not really clear to me.

Plating with gold or silver might help a tiny bit, but extremely probably not worth the cost.
If you are talking about using the copper block to dissapate heat (transfer) then you need to think about increased area, IE: fins.

Copper is the 3rd best heat conducting material. Silver very close to it is 2nd and is platable. Diamond well above is 1st and is not platable by conventional electroplating. So, very hardly will you find any advantage changing to these exotic materials. Rather look into better design for heat transfer such as better surface finish, closer contact, higher contact presure, heat sinks, forced air or whatever.
