What's the maximum corrosion resistance coating for bolts?
I need the maximum corrosion resistance for a bolt, I need minimum 1500h in salt spray test. What's the best coating for this use?
Thanks

Really need a little more information before an answer can be given. Can you tell us what the material of the bolt is (low alloy steel, stainless steel, titanium, aluminium, etc) and what sort of environment that the bolt will be operating in (marine, industrial, rural, etc). What is the minimum and maximum allowable coating thickness?
Which corrosion resistance specification do you want to meet (neutral salt spray, AAS, CASS)?
All of these parameters will affect the answer you get on what the best coating will be.

1500 hours is likely impossible with bolts. There's too much chance the coating could be damaged during installation. Why not stainless steel or some other corrosion resistant alloy?
