Environment friendly replacement for Trichloroethylene

We are using "Trichloroethylene" for solvent debinding of MIM parts. But we want to use alternative solvent which is environment friendly for the same use.TCE dissolves wax from MIM parts while solvent debinding.

Please let me know any suitable solvent for above application or other debinding method.

Dear Sachin,

Some people say n-propyl bromide is an alternative to TCE, But the orgument still exists. I came across while talking to somebody, Heptane can be used for solvent debinding. I don't know whether it suits your application but just an info.

Good luck
