Lacquer for stainless steel
Hi, I work for a furniture design company, and we are producing several pieces in stainless steel, on a small batch or one off scale. We are looking for a lacquer to coat the steel to provide an extra protective layer. Are there any types of lacquer that are recommended for this? Any help is greatly appreciated,
Thanks

You might contact a company called Trimite Ltd in the UK who manufacture a range of stoving enamels and lacquers. Some air dry and some need baking, but they should be able to advise.

I have rechromed the bumpers on my antique auto. The old bolts were chrome and need to be replaced. I bought stainless bolts and have polished them and they look great. Will they retain the shine they now have or do they need to be coated with a clear lacquer?
