Nickel recovery/buyers

I'd like to know if anyone can help me recover nickel and copper which have been stripped from mag wheels using nitric/sulfuric acid. read abt evaporators, ion exchange, r.o, etc. but its very expensive. cheaper methods, any? or if none, can anyone help me find where to buy surplus machines for recover? or do you know of anyone who buys nickel dissolved in nitric/sulfuric acid? thanks a lot.

It is not practical to ship hazardous waste around for recovery, so you would have to find a recovery service within the Philippines. Actually being paid for your hazardous waste is an extreme rarity though. The thing is, why are you stripping the nickel and copper? Try to fix the problem that is causing the rejects, or at least plate more nickel on top rather than stripping the parts.

Good day! please help me on how to best recover nickel and copper from stripping of mag wheels using nitric/sulfuric acid. My client's line of business is plating of mag wheels. If they have rejects, they strip first the nickel then second the copper using either nitric or sulfuric acid. In a liter of acid, they strip about 200 g of nickel or copper. I would want to recover it, if you could please help me. thanks.
