Auto warranty voided by Teflon coating?
Hi, I was just told by a car dealer that this TEFLON protection actually voids some parts of the Paint warranty of the Car.. Is this true? and if so.., why are dealers able to sell you such a thing for your brand new car?

Teflon coating may or may not be worth the cost, or worth anything, Luisa. Our site alone has numerous letters from people enthusiastic about their experience with it, and others who are dissappointed. I don't think any product was ever made that has nobody that liked it or nobody that disliked it.
But I really don't understand your question, Luisa. You certainly can't expect an automobile manufacturer to say that it is okay for some third party to do whatever they wish to your car and they'll still warranty the finish regardless. And I hope you're not asking your government to make it illegal for you to have the paint on your car altered if you choose. Maybe you can explain your situation in more detail?
