Want stable bare metal anode
Q. I would like to learn about some price ranges for bare metal anodes. the price range for a 6 inch by 8mm in diameter rod. what metals would resist rusting and provide a stable current into a reservoir of highly acidic water? Iridium?
your help will be appreciated......

A. Which metal to use depends on exactly what is in that 'reservoir of highly acidic water', and your inquiry is vague about that. It's not just a matter of chemical resistance, but the anode must be of a material which will cause oxygen to be liberated in preference to the anode metal being oxidized. Platinum clad titanium is used in many such applications. Price depends on whether you need one or millions, but they're not cheap., although they're far cheaper than solid precious metals.
If you look up 'dimensionally stable anodes' you can find more research material.
