Deoxidizer turns red
The deoxidizer (proprietary product) on my chem film line turns red after approximately one (1) week of production. The solution titrates within limits, and color does not seem to effect performance. My process is a typical chem film line. (clean, etch, rinse, deox, rinse, chromate conversion, etc.) What is causing the color change?

First of two simultaneous responses --
Are you running copper containing 2000 alloys?
Does the deox contain Ferric sulphate? If so, have you dragged in enough alkaline etch to precipitate out the iron as iron oxide which is red?
What kind of tank? What kind of Heater, unless room temp?
Iron contamination? Copper Contamination? Dye bleed from rack entrapments?

You could try asking the proprietor of the product.
