Silver Plating for the Beginner

Can someone please supply the details on the process of ELECTRO silver plating copper using Silver Nitrate ⇦ this on eBay or Amazon [affil links] , Potassium Cyanide, etc. in solution with a pure silver anode. I wish to experiment for private purposes.

Hello, Mr. Lind. Please get to the library and borrow a copy of one of the plating books on our "must-have booklist".

It's not that questions aren't welcome -- they certainly are! But cyanide is a deadly poison even in very small quantities, not only as a powder and as a liquid, but as a gas which can be evolved when it mixes with acidic materials. If you're not fully trained in it and fully equipped to deal with it, you should not attempt to use it. Ted Mooney, finishing.com
