Dangers of using orthophosphate for the interior coating of lead water services?
Dangers of using orthophosphate for the interior coating of lead water services? I have a customer that her city is adding orthophosphate and she is chemical sensitive.
Q1. What type of filter media would remove orthophosphate?
Q2. I have heard that orthophosphate can cause some individuals stomach pains. Why is this possible? What is in orthophosphate that can cause this problem?
Q3. How exactly should I handle this problem?

I don't understand your relationship to your 'customer' in such a way that I would have any clue how you should handle this problem'. Are you her landlord, plumber, vitamin store, or what? Thanks for clarification.
