Sculptor needs citric acid for cleaning titanium
I am a sculptor who is installing a large piece of titanium sculpture in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia next month. I understand that citric acid
⇦ this on
eBay
or
Amazon [affil links] is a good cleaning agent ( I've used 100% lemon juice successfully) for titanium and since this piece is going to be installed as an entry feature above a pool of water in front of a Hilton Hotel, I believe this particular acid would be the most environmentally friendly.....and also the easiest to apply and rinse off. An industry leader/producer of titanium product suggests a concentration of 25% by weight with water. Which citric acid do they mean and where can I purchase it Malaysia? I'd take some granulated with me but I assume customs will think it is drugs. I need to suggest a future supplier to the hotel people for long term maintenance.....and I need it to clean the sculpture when I am there in June. Please help!
Thank you,
