Defects: "SORI" and "CHITTI"
2004
Dear Sir/Madam,
What do we call these problems in International Terms? I have a problem in my overseas customers that usually some discrepancies occurs on our manufactured Brass products. If you have any idea of these products then you could easily understand my problem: on the polish brass finish of any items made of Brass..... some pinholes and some minute spots appears on the surface or anywhere on the item.
And I am unable to explain to my overseas buyers that what should call these as International Terms as we are using these in our regional language is "SORI" & "CHITTI". Please I need your help.
Thanks and regards,

Janab Sajid Hafeez Khan,
Shori: Pitting
Chitti: If I understand this Aligarian term correctly it means "White spots " or "spotting out." You have not described the process used. So we can't suggest any remedy. You need local help.
