List of organic present in electroplating wastewater

Hello every one; I want to have list of organics which are present in the wastewater of electroplating industries. I want to degrade one organic from electroplating industry by photocatalysis for my thesis at university.

Thank You,

Many but not all plating baths have organic brighteners in them, most but not all are proprietaries so we can't tell you what they are. But you could pick coumarin or saccharin or glue. Sodium lauryl sulphate is used as a wetting agent in many plating baths.

DTC (sodium diethyl dithio carbamate) is often used in wastewater treatment, and is both useful to waste treatment and extremely toxic to stream life, so that's a possible one.

But the majority of organic material comes into the electroplating shop as oils and greases on the raw parts.
