My polishing job is in need of help

I am a rider who loves his bikes. I have a new project; it is a 1997 900RR (best trick bike out). Last summer I took on the grueling and almost never ending task of " POLISHING THE FRAME AND SWING ARM" it looks good and every one was impressed but now I have little pits and scratches from the thousands of miles I put on it last year.

My question is how do you fix the small scratches and imperfections without creating new problems? any help would be appreciated.

The answer to your question varies, it depends on how deep all the scratches are, you will need to start with sandpaper that will get the scratches out, if they are very mild you can probably just use the different emery on eBay or Amazon [affil links] /tripoli/rouge compounds and buff them out. If they are deeper than that you will need to figure out which grit sandpaper to use and sand them out. Its not hard, just will take you a little time.

Good Luck!
