Testing bond strength of HVOF coating

I want to test the bond strength of HVOF coating. For this what are standard specimen dimension and from where I can purchase the adhesive for tensile test.

When I was in the turbine engine overhaul industry, we had very specific procedures. It was a 1" dia slug of the same material as the parent material, grit blasted in the same way and sprayed on the part or in an identical manner. There were mins and maximums. Initial specs called for a two component epoxy and later it was changed to a single component epoxy from one of a couple of manufacturers(shipped on dry ice and stored frozen). There was a fixture for the application of a given amount of pressure in a symmetrical manner to a post that fastened into the testing machine that traveled at a very specific speed. PSI was converted (corrected for the slightly less than one sq inch of the slug area). A lot of how well the test does is dependent on the skills of the operator.
