British and American equivalent raw materials and specifications
Second, where can I locate cross references for British and American or Military Standards for materials and surface treatments? Joseph Lis

My question is two fold, I am currently seeking distributors of BS L168 (Aluminum )BS 2S 135 and BS 2S 130 (Steel and Stainless Steel) primarily in North America or Britain.
Ed. note: Your second question is one that we hope you get help from our readers on.
Please tell me the details of Equivalent Specification so that I can compare Specifications.e.g what is equivalent specification in JIS for EN10143?

Hi. To my knowledge there is no such thing as "equivalent specifications". A spec is either identical to another spec (for example, there are a handful identical AMS and Mil specs) or it's different. If it's different, which is probably the case 99+% of the time, there are no equivalent specs or cross references.
I think all you can do is look up the kind of spec you are looking for in the various systems.
