Getting large rust off '57 Willys
I recently got a 1957 Willys pickup from my grandpa. It runs very well it just needs to have a lot of rust removed from it. There are large spots that have deep rust but it is not rusted all the way through. I have been looking around and it looks like there is 2 ways to do it. One with a chemical and the other is to grind it. Are either one of these effective or should I go w/ a different approach. Your help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you considered sand blasting, it does a really good job and all you have to worry about is sweeping up some non toxic sand. It's a lot more thorough and less time consuming than grinding.
