Maintaining biocompatibility at nitinol to SS joint
Hi, I have a question regarding joining of Nitinol to stainless steel. How can one form a strong joint and preserve its biocompatibility.
Best regards,

Is it safe to implant a nitinol stent inside a stainless steel stent? or visa versa? what evidence is there that proves this may not be safe? or contrary proof?. SS having a weak galvanic effect, I would think it' OK to have the 2 metals touching inside the body without adverse reactions. let me know . thanks
