SURPLUS PAINT of aluminium extrusions - what to do

2003

Hi,

I am new to this field of aluminium extrusions and hence my question may seem elementary to many. On completion of projects companies many times land up with a lot of surplus paint which is often not reusable in other projects since customer requirements are different. So how does the company treat its surplus paint other than just store in the warehouse.

Considering the high value of the paints are there any takers / purchasers for the surplus paints that is lying in different colours and quantities. If so for what use and how can they be found.

If you are talking liquid paint the response is use it as a normal paint. However most aluminium these days is coated with an electrostatic system using a powder and it is doubtful if a usage other than aluminium is envisaged.

Yours hopefully(maybe),
