Specific gravity of anodize solution and how to measure it
2003
Could you please tell me what the specific gravity of the sulfuric acid solution is in a type II anodizing tank?. That is one with a mixture of 165.3 grams of 66 degree baumé sulfuric acid per litre of water. Is a hydrometer an accurate way to measure specific gravity.
Thank you
Kind regards,

A hydrometer is not a good way to test your anodizing or hardcoat solutions and most other other plating solutions as contaminates such as aluminum [change the specific gravity].
