Anodizing brass cufflinks to a perfect match
I have tie clasps that have an anodized brass finish. I want to modify a pair of them to make matching cufflinks. My question is can I have them re-anodized? or can I simply have the newly exposed metal portions anodized? This is for part of a military uniform. The finish would have to be flawless or match perfectly. Can it be done? If this turns out well, I may look into trying to manufacture a uniform accessory out of them on a small scale. the parts are small so I don't know if it would even be cost effective at first. However I appreciate any assistance I can get.

I really doubt if you can anodize brass. Look up definitions of electroplate and anodize.

You are looking for the same, Umesh? Do you mean that you insist that brass can be anodized and nothing but anodized brass will meet your needs? Please explain what you are looking for rather than "the same". Thanks. We suspect that you may be referring to aluminum that has been anodized to a brass-tone.
