How to paint metal cabinets
I need to know how to reface my metal kitchen cabinets. I want to paint them, since I can not afford to buy new ones. The cabinets are a brown grain finish. I have slate blue wallpaper and pots, so I need to know what color would be better to paint them. My oven and microwave and kitchen table and ceiling fan are black. I wanted to paint them black, but I do not know if this is feasible? Please help?

Helena, I plan to redo my metal cabinets as well, I plan to coat them with a primer sealer, called Problock which will help the paint adhere to the slick surface that they have.
I will then use a foam roller and paint them with an enamel paint.
You could probably eliminate the primer if you used an enamel spray paint.
I am playing up the fact that my kitchen is old and painting them a surgical hospital green white walls which will go well with black.
Good Luck
