Electrolytic passivation of stainless steel tank
I have two SS 316 tanks of the following size : a) 1600 mm dia x 3750 mm long b) 2000 mm dia. x 4500 mm long a) How can I passivate the tank electrolytically & the method to do it?

Dear Mr. Eswar,
First, solvent clean your tanks to remove all oils. Then wash down with a mixture of 20% HNO3 with 2% sodium dichromate dissolved in it.
Please use proper safety garments like shoes,
apron

Wash down afterwards with clean water with a little soap solution.
