Picking a good Aluminum anodizing dye
Q. I am interested in hand coloring anodized aluminum jewelry. I am unsure what dyes are good and safe to use. If any one has any further information it would be great.

A. Anodized aluminum are dyed right after being rinsed of acid from anodizing process. They are usually sealed as final treatment. After this, no further dye coloring is possible.

A. I presume you are doing the anodising yourself? The dye should be applied directly after the anodising itself and can be applied by a variety of different methods. Here are some interesting sites I came across today :

Please let me know how you get on.
