Personnel dangers of phosphating
I'm a medical student from the Philippines. We are doing an occupational hazards report on an oil seal manufacturing company. One of the process involved is phosphating. I have found very little info on the dangers of phosphating to health. Can anybody help?

The simplest way is to find which product they are using, contact the chemical vendor and get an MSDS for the product. I do not know if MSDS are used in the Philippines, but if the chemical supplier is international, they will have one. It should tell you most of what you want to know. If an MSDS is not available to you, respond back to this forum giving as many details about the process as you can- what type of phosphating, which chemicals are used, what are the concentrations of the chemicals, what specific health hazards are you curious about. With this information, it is more likely that someone will be able to give an appropriate response.
