Liquid and powder coating comparison

We want to replace the liquid painting by powder coating on the motor cycle Honda. What about the comparitaive life of the powder coating with good quality liquid coating. What is the cost comparison operating/ fixed cost comparison?

Generally it is impossible to give you any comparison between powder and liquid paint in such a way that this would be helpful information for you:

You ask to compare the life of powder with that of a "good" liquid paint. Question: how "good" is your liquid paint? "Good" in the sense of corrosion resistance, or good in UV durability or...............? The same goes for your question about fixed/running costs. Is your actual plant up-to-date or is it an old one with, for example, very low write-off rates, but with a high use of energy, etc, etc.

You see that answering your question in a GENERAL way is not possible. But...don't you really want to know what the effects (quality, costs, logistics, etc) of changing from liquid to powder would be in YOUR situation? My advice to you is to hire a professional who knows where he is talking about, who will ask you the right questions and who will come up with an advice specially fitted for you and your particular situation. Don't know where to find them? Go to the consultants sections of this site.

Good luck,
