Electroplating Project

Q. Hi..

I am from the University of Natal, Durban, South Africa. My friends and I are currently involved in an Electroplating Project. I would really appreciate it if you could recommend a few sites, or even some key areas that we should cover. We aren't sure whether to concentrate on Gold, Platinum or Zinc Electroplating. Any Suggestions and Advice will be highly appreciated.

Thank you for your time,

We believe that you've already found the longest-running, biggest, most popular and best electroplating site on the net :-)

So if you have found nothing of value here, I'm not sure that much would be gained by referring you to yet other electroplating sites.

But the truth is that for university level projects you need books, not websites. So much is free on the web that no one has been able to develop a viable economic model for the Internet that would pay for the kind of effort needed to assembling a subject into the comprehensive, tutorial, organized, inclusive book-like form that you need.

As our Tom Pullizzi immortalized it, the Internet is characterized by "infinite demand at zero cost, zero demand at infinitessimal cost" :-)

Check out some of the books, and good luck with your project.
