I am studying the optical properties of black copper deposit. I wonder if the use of lacquer to prevent the powdery aspect decrease the light absorption?

Ed. note: Sorry that no reader has answered your question to date, Mr. Arnaud, and that finishing.com's staff doesn't have the expertise to do so. However, we would share your concern that the good light absorption is probably highly dependent on the topology of the deposit, not just it's color. Some books on solar collectors surely address the issue, but we don't know which ones :-)
