Nickel Plating Repair

I need to repair some Nickel plated surfaces that have worn through. Quality of the finish is not as important as rust protection. I have seen the small wand stile kits that Auto Detailers use to gold plate emblems and I am wondering if that system will work and if so where do I find the kit and which one is recommended?

Bernie, remember that 90% of plating is pretreatment. Taking emblems that have beautiful OEM quality nickel plating, and removing a few millionths of an inch of chrome off the top and replacing it with gold is the drop dead easiest plating in the world. If your nickel is worn through, it may be a much bigger job. This site is made possible by our advertisers, including several suppliers of that kind of equipment but, because of the anonymity of the internet, it's not a good place to ask for a specific manufacturer recommendation. Go to our Directory of Chemicals, use the search term "brush plating", and you'll find what you're looking for. Good luck.
