What is the cheapest way to update a tub or toilet?
I am redoing the master bathroom with limited funds. I want to know if it is possible to use a paint on the bathtub and toilet, instead of having to by new products ( the color of the existing bath and toilet are almond and I want them to either be white or black ). If it is possible I need to know what I need to use.
Thank you,

I don't think paint would hold up very long on a ceramic toilet or bathtub. It will probably peel off and end up not doing a good job at all. Bathtubs and toilets are very smooth so that they are easy to clean, but this also prevents painting or coating because that doesn't stick either. I have heard of companies that sell some sort of kit/cover that installs on top of an old bathtub to give it a "new" exterior. I think you're probably going to have to either replace them both or live with the old color.
