Brush plating selective plating
I am electrochemist with years of experience. I bought, second hand Brush Plating (Selective plating) equipment, with all electrodes and chemicals and everything. Could not resist the opportunity. Now I am having it on my balcony, and though there is large market and need for it, I do not know if I should start, as it looks so tedious and difficult to build significant thickness and accuracy etc. does anyone has experience, doing it privately? Is it profitable? Are the new solutions expensive? Does it pay of? As I said, only two people are doing it and some big companies. Should I get into it, or get read of it. Any tips welcomed.
Thanks,

Nothing is easy to do well, including quality electroplating. But there is a need for both decorative plating and functional repairs through electroplating. If you can get your hands on a copy of Marvin Rubinstein's Electrochemical Metallizing (the best book about brush plating), it may give you some ideas about what is doable.
