About Aluminium Alloy Casting Surface Treatment

There are two ways to process the surface of the aluminium alloy casting. One is black anodizing the surface first and then obturating it. The other is generally black painting the surface. I want to know the difference between the two ways for the performance of the surface of the aluminium alloy casting.

Thanks.

Where are these parts being used? Aerospace or automotive, household or electronic? Organic coatings have replaced anodic coatings for some aluminum castings, such as enclosures for power equipment.
