Is it really copper or a great deception
I have seen metal roofs finish coats with a copper patina appearance that looks real but is really painted. How is this accomplished or/and who manufactures this product. Is it available for gutters as well.

If the person paying the bills knows that it's not copper, then I don't feel it's a deception--but it is an imitation. It is probably prepainted aluminum strip; and yes, it's available as gutter and leader material. Find the Coil Coaters Association and you may find some links.
