Hazardous waste management
2002
Dear sir,
Herein I would like to put forth a question as:
1. What are the expert system of Hazardous Waste Management and what modern methods or machinery are available for mixing of hazardous wastes and or of stabilization purpose.
2. What types of treatments can be given to arsenic, mercury and PCBs in order to neutralize them.
Thanks and warm regards,

You won't find your answer on this side of the Pacific Ocean, Mr. Banerjee! Some years ago there was a lot of interest in cementing hazardous wastes and including them in concrete block manufacture, etc. However, after some fiascos like Times Beach, Missouri, and changing public attitudes towards hazardous waste, the only place any hazardous waste is going here is into a secure landfill.
