Galvannealed Steel

2002

Dear Sir,

Wondering if you could help me. We currently use galvanized steel in our blower wheels for a draft inducer (Furnace) application. We our looking into using galvannealed steel instead. My question is would there be any issues with using the galvanneaded steel besides the brown discoloring?

Please advise.

Thank you,

Kevin Ziegman

Galvannealed is usually a silvery matte finish initially. Will you be painting or welding on it, or is there another reason you want galvannealed? The heavier the coating the more flaking/ chipping are of concern if you are bending or forming.
