Pulse hard chroming
I know about about the technique called "hard chroming", sometimes spelt as "hardchroming". Is there a specific technique within this practice, that makes use of "pulsing", or pulses? And how would that technique be named in English? I can't find "pulse chroming" anywhere, nor "pulse hard chroming". Can anyone enlighten me?
Thank you!

It's pulse plating, not pulse chroming.
