Q. I am a year 12 high school student who is studying chemistry. Our current assignment is to test the concentration of citric acid in Orange juice. We were hoping to get some information on the procedure of this experiment. Your reply would be very much appreciated.

A. Hello!

Well, you've probably covered things like "indicator solutions" in your chemistry class, and you can likely think of a base that you can add to a known amount of orange juice such that you completely neutralize the acid. Would knowing how much base solution it takes to do that tell you anything?

Good luck!
