Would like advice or suggestions about heat resistant paint
Am looking for a heat resistant paint that can be applied right over that shiny, laminated, thin pressboard used behind a kitchen stove, or sometimes in bathrooms (can't remember the name of that stuff) anyway, I have it behind my kitchen range and cannot remove it without a lot of difficulty. Would like to paint it and make it look better. Any suggestions would be much appreciated. Also, if there is such a paint, where to find it?

Home Depot or any other large home repair store (Lowe's, etc.) makes a heat resistant paint. Most heat resistant paints that can be used in the home are flat, with no shine. I've seen glossy heat resistant paints, but mostly for automotive use. The variety of color is going to be limited in a heat resistant paint.
