Painting aluminum storm doors
I would like to paint my aluminum storm door. Does it need to be cleaned and or primed first? What type of paint and brushes are best?

I saved your newspaper response to this question - "How to paint an aluminum storm door", but have misplaced it.
Thank you.

I live in South Texas and have aluminum storm shutters on my windows and the paint is peeled and cracked. I want to take them down and repaint them. How do I remove the old paint and what is the best type of paint to use for aluminum.
