Chrome over nickel intermediate base
How is chrome plating on a nickel intermediate base over a steel base compared to chrome plating on a steel base directly.
- Hyderabad, Andhra Pradesh, India
Your question is in reference to hard (engineered) chrome plating? Please post your real-world situation, rather than a hypothetical. Thanks.

Depending on thickness of each, it would be more corrosion resistant over the nickel. Possibly a tiny bit brighter because nickel has some leveling effect.
