Electropolishing of small nickel-titanium parts
Q. I'm looking for a way to electropolish small nickel titanium parts. I've only worked with 316 stainless using Electro-glo, and the same technique doesn't work with NiTi. Can you suggest the proper concoction? Thanks in advance!

I suggest a 5-10% sulfuric in methanol [affil links] solution. This works on drawn wire and should work well on tubing but I have had mixed result on rolled foils.
