We are a young, growing Company based in Scranton Pa.; we are looking for a Chemical Engineer to join our staff to lead process design and improvement efforts and to provide production management leadership to the Metalizing Department. Our product is "unique". We produce nylon filament and staple fibers, chemically coated with silver. This material is used by our customers in primarily textile products; in medical, industrial, military and consumer goods applications. Silver has proven to have many commercially important properties, including anti-odor and anti-microbial applications, and new uses for the product are found nearly every day. We want a process improver with proven skills in managing people and driving change in a team environment. Knowledge of Six Sigma & SPC tools is desirable. Salary to $85k plus bonus potential. This person will supervise or coordinate the work of engineers, technicians, designers and hourly skilled trades personnel to meet project objectives and will interface with customers and develop new designs. The position requires a BA/BS in related engineering discipline plus a minimum of five years experience or equivalent education and experience.
