Need non-slip AFS micro texture coating

September 11, 2008

I am a product designer looking for a coating seen on an existing product and for someone capable of applying it. The product appears here: http://www.compactdesk.com/popup_102_lrg.html. See the top right, which shows the bottom of the box with a dotted texture. This texture is actually dots of a rubber coating that creates a non-skid surface. It is listed as a AFS micro texture. I'm not sure if that the technical name or not.

I am looking to use a similar material and process on stainless steel and possibly HDPE.

Any help would be appreciated.

Ted Mooney is retiring but I have several offers to take it over.
We're working hard to make sure we find it the best new home.
