-----Do I need copper on bronze before nickel?
September 3, 2008
On a 510 Phosphor bronze stamped coil, I have deposited 50 micro inches of nickel sulfamate over a copper flash and then 50 micro inches of soft gold class 1, grade A. The final Lead frame will be wire bonded.
Question: How important is the copper flash in this combination?
I can take away the copper flash and live only the nickel sulfamate and the soft gold over the phosphor bronze coil?
